Sunscreen every day — even indoors
by Aphrodite Beauty pharmacists
UVA rays — the ones behind dark spots and early wrinkles — pass through clouds and window glass. If you sit near a window or go out even briefly, your skin is exposed.
How much?
About two finger-lengths of sunscreen for the face and neck. Too little gives far less protection than the number on the bottle.
When to reapply
Every 2 hours outdoors, and after sweating or swimming. Sunscreen mists make reapplying over makeup easy.
Which one?
Oily or acne-prone skin: a light, matte fluid or mist. Dry skin: a moisturising lotion with SPF. Sensitive skin: fragrance-free formulas.
Pharmacist tip: if you use retinol, acids or treat pigmentation, daily sunscreen isn't optional — it protects your results.
